Zemtv Kodi Addon

There are a lot of Kodi add-ons that are highlighted by how different they are. ZemTV is one of those. This add-on could easily be confused as just one of many IPTV add-ons. However, it secretly houses an absolute treasure trove of channels that are very difficult to find among many other streaming add-ons. Furthermore, you’ll find that this is one of the many functional add-ons available on the included Kodi add-on repository. This post will show you how to install the ZemTV addon for Kodi, and provide a breakdown of its various pros and cons.

We’ll talk in more depth about the benefits and limitations of this add-on. For now, your best move is to get it installed onto your device. This will help you better navigate your way through it and help you better frame the discussion. If you’re familiar with Kodi, just go to Videos>Add-ons>Get more. You’ll find ZemTV at the very bottom. For newcomers, we suggest you follow our quick guide just below.

Before we Proceed

We highly recommend using a VPN when using Kodi. Kodi users have been known to receive copyright infringement notices for streaming movies, sports, and TV shows through various addons. If you would like to keep your streaming habits private, our recommendation is IPVanish - a complete privacy solution for Kodi users. It's also worth noting that purchasing a 12 month subscription will give you two months free.

ZemTV Installation Guide

A Note on VPNs

Encrypted web surfing is not just about protecting your identity. It’s also about making sure you can get to the areas you want and need when surfing online. Virtual Private Networks, or VPNs, offer excellent encryption that create a private channel between your machine and the servers you’re connecting to. This not only allows you to surf and stream privately while online, it can help you get past road blocks that keep you from viewing certain material. For ZemTV, this may indeed be important, as some content is locked geographically (e.g., you can’t view it because you’re not in that country). We recommend IPVanish as your go-to VPN. It’s not a free option as some other VPNs are. However, it is one of the most effective. This is highlighted by its popularity, and the many props it gets from even well-known news outlets. It’s effective, fast and easy to install. We suggest you try it out.

ZemTV: Benefits and Limitations

ZemTV is what every streaming application should be. We don’t say that lightly. This application has just about everything you could hope for, and then some. You’ll find that ZemTV is an excellent source for television channels of all strips, but especially for sports. This is one of the only add-ons you’ll find that has a huge selection of India-based sports channels, along with the common British, American and European sports networks. Many of the channels are also broken up based on the specific sport, and they’re not all of the common ones. In fact, under the “PTC Sports” section, you can actually find truck racing. No, we don’t mean Chevy or Ford pickups. We mean full 18-wheelers skidding tires on a track.

The biggest problem with ZemTV is one that many streaming add-ons fail at: organization. This add-on is very organized, yes, but not organized enough to make it easy to actually find everything you’re looking for. And given the vast amount of streams available here, your going to be doing a lot of scrolling through what seems like endless channels.

Ultimately, you’re greeted with well over 100 sports streams, some live, most pre-recorded. And ultimately, the biggest downside to this add-on is a consequence of its good side. We recommend keeping this add-on around, as its options are hard to match.
