Install the Tonido Client Addon for Kodi v17 Krypton

First, we will start with the Krypton version of Kodi.

  1. Start by opening Kodi.
  2. From the home screen, click on the Settings icon (it looks like a gear). On the next screen, you’ll see an icon that says File Manager. When you see the list, scroll down until you see Add source heading and choose it.
  3. By doing so, you’ll see a box pop up that says Add file source.
  4. Next, click on the highlighted line that says <None>.
  5. Enter exactly http://kodi.metalkettle.co and hit the Done button.
  6. This addon needs a name. Enter the name mk or whatever you want to call it.
  7. Now, click the OK button to add the file.
  8. Once added, return to the home screen and select Add-ons. You should see the icon of an opened box with an arrow pointing inside. Go ahead and click on it. This is the addon browser screen. Select Install from zip file.
  9. Click on mk > repository.metalkettle-x-x-x.zip.
  10. Wait for the notification message.
  11. Select Install from repository, and choose MetalKettle’s Addon Repository.
  12. Choose Video addons.
  13. Now, click on Tonido Client, and click the Install button.
  14. Wait for the notification message.
  15. To access, go to Add-ons > Videos > Tonido Client.

Install the Tonido Client Addon for Kodi v16 Jarvis

  1. Open Kodi Jarvis (v16.1)
  2. From the home screen, go to the System heading, and you’ll see File Manager as a subcategory, so click on it.
  3. Next, click on Add source.
  4. Click in the box that says <None>, enter http://kodi.metalkettle.co and click Done.
  5. Now, label it mk, or whatever you like. As long as you know what it is, you are fine. Next, hit OK.
  6. Once added, go back to the home screen, and click on the heading that says System.
  7. From here, click on Add-ons and then choose the option that says Install from zip file.
  8. Choose mk > repository.metalkettle-x-x-x.zip.
  9. Wait for a few moments, and you’ll get a notification message telling you the addon is enabled.
  10. Select Install from repository, and choose the MetalKettle’s Addon Repository.
  11. Choose Video addons.
  12. Now, click on Tonido Client, and click the Install button.
  13. Wait for the notification message.
  14. Access the add on by going to Videos > Video Add-Ons > Tonido Client from your home screen.
