Install the Stream Engine Addon for Kodi v17 Krypton

First, we will start with the Krypton version of Kodi.

  1. Start by opening Kodi.
  2. From the home screen, double click on the folder icon. The next screen is the File Manager. When you see the list, scroll down until you see Add source heading. Double click on that heading.
  3. By doing so, you’ll see a box pop up that says Add file source.
  4. Next, click on the highlighted line that says <None>.
  5. Enter exactly http://muckys.mediaportal4kodi.ml and hit the Done button.
  6. This addon needs a name. Enter the name muckys or whatever you want to call it.
  7. Now, click the OK button to add the file.
  8. Once added, return to the home screen and select Add-ons. You should see the icon of an opened box with an arrow pointing inside. Go ahead and click on it. This is the addon browser screen. Select Install from zip file.
  9. Click on muckys then select Repository.MDRepo-x.x.x.zip.
  10. Wait for the notification message.
  11. Now, select Install from repository, and then Mucky Ducks Repository.
  12. Next, select Video addons and then Stream Engine.
  13. Select Install.
  14. Wait for Add-on enabled notification.
  15. Access by going to the Home screen > Add-ons > Stream Engine.

If you are using Jarvis, the instructions vary slightly but should be easy to follow.

  6. Once added, go back to the home screen, and click on the heading that says System.
  7. From here, click on Add-ons and then choose the option that says Install from zip file.
  8. Choose muckys. Next, select the option that says Repository.MDRepo-x.x.x.zip.
  9. Wait for the notification message.
  10. Now, select Install from repository, and then Mucky Ducks Repository.
  11. Next, select Video addons and then Stream Engine.
  12. Select Install.
  13. Wait for Add-on enabled notification.
  14. Access the add on by going to Videos > Video Add-Ons > Stream Engine from your home screen.
